Here is some info on everyone's favorite DJ, ATrak. In case alot of you don't know, this dude has been dominating the Turntable scene way before the Kanye West and "New Rave" shit. He was the youngest DJ to ever win a DJ Battling World Championship at age 15. He was the first to win the ITF, DMC and Vestax Championships before age 18. For all the hiphop heads that remember, ATrak was in the group Obscure Disorder, along with his brother Dave One. They were known for a more hardcore "fuck you" sound that is more along the lines of Nonphixion (they collabed with them on the track "2004"...dope shit). He started the Label Audio Research back in 97 and released Obscure Disorder's first single "Lyrically Exposed". In the mix of all this ATrak's brother, Dave One, went along and started Chromeo (talk about opposite ends of the musical spectrum). He also formed the Turntablist crew The Allies along with DJ Craze and Atlanta's own Klever. ATrak retired from the battling scene in 2000 and in 2004 got signed on as Kanye's DJ, then came the all-over print neon hoodies, big-ass shades and all the that other shit that comes with the territory etc etc...here's a little taste of his DJing skill
