I guess it's only right to pay tribute to the Horrorcore hiphop movement of the early 90's since Halloween is tomorrow. Me personally I was a fan of the genre even tho they talked about some pretty violent subjects. Despite all the violent rhymes and depictions of devil worshipping the creative aspect of it was dope. To me it was just like watching a Friday the 13th movie but in rap form. Here are some of the players in the Horrorcore movement:
Gravediggaz (Left to Right: Too Poetic, Frukwan, Prince Paul, RZA)
Gravediggaz - Diary of a Madman
Flatlinerz - U.S.A. (Under Satans Authority)
Flatlinerz - Live Evil
This was some crazy shit for sure! Hey peep the skull game...this was way before Juelz Santana and Three Six Mafia were on that shit. Respect that!
